After the baby comes does my wife working 2 jobs and me being a stay at home dad sound like a bad idea?
This will be our third child and she is a medical assistant. So she makes more money than I do so if she worked 1 1/2 jobs then we would make the same as me working over night. We would both be able to sleep at night only she would be working 60 hours a week.
Is this a bad idea?

It’s a decision that should be up to you and your wife. If she truly is okay with it and thinks it’s a good idea too, then go for it. If not, respect her wishes and go and work and make the financial sacrifice for her happiness. After all, she’s going thru all the effort of carrying and giving birth.
I personally wouldn’t want to work 60hr weeks after just giving birth, but…
No this is nearly 2009. There are becoming many stay at home fathers. Plus if your wife is able to bring in more money than you. I think it make sense that you be the one to stay home with the children. So if you are both fine with this situation I say go for it.
